Just some things to consider…
Due to sagging attendance I have decided to cease further attempts to plan regular gatherings. I do hope all of you continue to read items of depth and significance. The blog will stay open for any of you to post suggested reading items or thoughts on what you have read or current events.
The past few years have provided many good memories and much more learning than I could have ever imagined. Thank you all for your interest and input. Let me know if any of you ever need anything. Hopefully, we can all get together for a reunion down the road.

As we look forward to our next gathering on May 23rd…open discussion…I thought I would share the following articles to ponder!
We will be meeting Friday, March 28th at Chuys in the Ceader Bluff area at 5:15pm. It has been a while. I look forward to seeing you. Who would have thought the Russian Revolution would be such an applicable basis of conversation?
Quick update…The next meeting will be on March 28th. The discussion will be over the Russian Revolution (I believe I stated the Spanish Civil War in error on the last post). Be sure to post your reading selections in the Comments section, in case one of us might want to pick up a copy of the book, as well.
Also, please keep Britton and his family in your prayers, as they are anxiously awaiting the birth of their new daughter, expected to arrive any day now.
Below are some recently gathered nuggets for your reading pleasure.
March for Life this Sunday, January 26 at 2:00 at CalvaryBaptistChurch (3200 Kingston Pike). Even if you cannot march, please join us for the prayer service.
Had a blast Friday. Great conversation. Decent grub. As discussed, the August meeting will be focused on the particulars of the state administered healthcare legislation. I need help from those out there who know of good resources that we might read the information as first hand, as possible. Summary form is preferred, but we are definitely not looking just for an op-ed piece. The next meeting will be the 18th or 19th of August. Make sure I know if one works better than the other.
